A Smarter Microprocessor for Better Performance:
As the result of extensive R&D efforts... The ASC25R is able to focus on significantly
more precise frequency domains. The discovery of a top end frequency range, substantially
higher than previous technology believed to exist during a glassbreak event has proven to
be a key component of the advanced algorithms developed for the ASC25R microprocessor.
This means unsurpassed detection in even the most difficult, acoustically "soft"
environments.
Faster Processing Eliminates False Alarms:
The ASC25R utilizes the fastest signal processing of any glassbreak available. In fact,
the collection of sound data is analyzed five times faster than the leading
detectors sold today.
The ASC25R operates knowing that the actual glassbreak event itself occurs in a
fraction of the time previously thought. All other associated sound such as glass
shattering on the floor or hitting other objects is superfluous to the actual processing.
Reverberant sounds (which nearly all false alarm signals contain); are ignored. You have
the assurance that the ASC25R will detect broken glass associated with intrusion; and set
a new standard in false alarm freedom.
Smart-TestTM Means Faster, Easier Installations:
In addition to verifying range, Smart-TestTM provides two-way
feedback, warning you of potential environmental trouble. It will actually tell you if the
detector is placed correctly or should be moved to another location. It indicates low or
high end frequency disturbances by flashing the LED at specific rates. This built-in test
features makes the ASC25R the fastest and easiest to install.

Applications
Maximum detection range is 25' (7.6m) from
the farthest corner of the protected glass
Detector requires a clear unobstructed view of
the entire glass surface being protected
Set-Up and Testing
Activate Smart-TestTM mode
by applying magnet (in top case of ASC-GBS simulator) to test point on detector case
Alarm LED will flash for 10 seconds
Detector will remain in Test Mode for 5 minutes
and automatically time out
Testing is done with case cover in place
