SYSTEM
DESCRIPTION
The 5120XM is a UL Listed, microprocessor based 5-zone commercial fire and burglary
control communicator. It can monitor fire alarm, emergency alarm, burglary alarm and fire
sprinkler supervisory sensors. When the 5120XM detects an alarm, supervisory or trouble
condition, it triggers an on-premises warning indication and transmits a message to a
central station via the dial-up telephone network. The 5120XM is UL864 listed and
conforms to NFPA72 standards for local, central station and remote station services. Five
supervised style B initiating circuits are provided and each circuit is programmable for a
full range of responses.
Two telephone lines are supervised. Audible signal circuits are 24VDC, 1.7A power,
suitable for ADA compliant strobes, 24V indicating circuit and an auxiliary form C relay.
The 5120XM supports one two-wire smoke detection circuit.
The 5120XM sends a test signal to the central station every 24 hours.

or remotely via telephone lines using IBM compatible PC running ADEMCO V-LINK download
software and Hayes modem.
