Alternative Beam Frequencies
The PBQ Series offers 3 alternative choices of frequency to prevent crosstalk between
beams in long range and stacked beam usage. Long Range Usage
When several sets of detectors are linked to create a long length fence of protection,
alternative frequency selection can prevent processing of a beam from a transmitter that
reaches beyond its intended receiver to a further receiver, preventing a failure to detect
an alarm. |

| Stacked Beam Usage When beams are stacked vertically to create an
impenetrable fence of protection, alternative frequency selection can prevent processing
of a beam from a close proximity transmitter because of optical beam spread, preventing a
failure to detect an alarm.
