You system is only as good as its backup battery;
and your backup battery is only as good as your system's ability to let someone know when
it might not be up to par. These alarms are called "supervisory" alarms.
They allow "caretakers" to keep watch over power supply efficiency, cable
conditions, software performance, etc. Your alarm company, and its associated service
network, is involved in this aspect of your system's operation. The aspects they monitor to accomplish this end are the "supervisory functions" of your alarm system. |
